I posted a reply on my beloved's journal and decided that I liked my rant soooooooooo much that I would repost it my own journal, with a few tweeks. I'm not going to seek out anyone to harrass, I'm just going to stand here in my own little space and keep my soapbox warm.
About cub p0rn. You can draw children. I've drawn children, grinning and playing with bouncy balls and blocks. You just can't feature them in compromising situations, which is just fine with me. Children are suppose to be treated like children, not adults.
I've always had a zero tolerance policy for any kind of child pornography. I don't care if it's animated featuring real or imaginary characters. It's all children or representative of children. Anyone who's ever enjoyed erotic cub art in that way might as well be branded a pedophile and get some freaking help. Those are the freaks that hide behind furry and label their actions as "okay" because it's not focusing on flesh and blood children. That's kinda like the priest hiding behind the church. Too bad the church doesn't use an online payment system that causes them to get rid of their dirty little secrets as well. If those were photographs, you'd all be looking at federal jail time. My opinion, those "doodles" are just the same as those photos.
As you can guess, I don't support "adult" cub art and really do think that the collectors should stop collecting and maybe get some help instead of feeding their addiction. And the artists that draw that shit should stop enabling the pedophiles and get help if they need it to. I really hope that people grow-up, stop touting rights they think they have and develop a sense of REAL morals. Right now I am quite comfortable in saying: You make me sick.
