FANotify app :: Initial Release!!!
General
UPDATE: v0.1 is available for download. See the latest journal.
FANotify is a little script I wrote that checks your FurAffinity profile and notify you of any new submissions, journals, notes, comments, etc. Download links and instructions are below. If I have time I'll eventually make packages for each OS to simplify installation. FANotify is being released as open source under the GNU GPL v2, and includes some components which are covered by the GPL or BSD-style licenses such as cygwin and growl. FANotify is copyright © 2010 jkltechinc. Fur Affinity and the icon included is (I assume) © 2010 Ferrox Art LLC.

Go ahead and download again from here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4223144/FAN.....fy-Windows.zip and extract.
(If you haven't already installed growl, then install it now)
In the folder you extracted, there is a file called firefox-cookies.bat double click on it. When you see the cow, it's done (you'll see what I mean). Press enter to close that window. In the folder, there should now be a file called cookies.txt. This is good.
Now double click the START.bat file. Wait a few seconds for it to get up and running. While it's working, it'll create a few new files in the folder, meaning it's working. The first notification should come in within 30 seconds.
Hope this works for you. If you're still having trouble then I will offer to help you get it working over teamviewer.

cookies.txt
I put a reminder in the program to let the user know if the cookies don't work, but something might have changed when I ported this to windows.
Relevant info: I am running Windows 7 Professional. I thought maybe because I have Nexus toolbar hiding the Windows toolbar, that was why I couldn't see it, so I re-enabled the windows toolbar, and it didn't help... (Also, your Firefox Cookies batch file has a word misspelled in it X3 )
I will be uploading it to github, so patches are welcome :3
I wonder how this will go~?
Terminal asks for a password...
What password? I don't even have one set
It's a one-time install of the script dependencies.
WTF Apple~?
Never even set up a password for anything~
And even if I did, it would go through without one~
But in Terminal; nope Password required, even if there wasn't one~
Imma try setting up a legit one, and see if that works~
Если не дошло то почеши затылок, всеравно не дошло? То спроси совет у Линуса
