Family Heirlooms

.:۞:. So I was talking to 
's mom today about family stuff and the subject of heirlooms came up. My family doesn't really have any heirlooms. She gave me the great idea of making a book on the stories my mom told me of family past and personal experiences. My mom had magical stories to tell me when I was a kit; like the one time my grandmother saw the ghosts of two priests while waiting for the church to open, and the time when my grandfather escaped China during the revolution. While thinking of these things it makes me wonder what heirlooms you guys have. Do any of your families keep heirlooms? If so what are they? and if not what will you make as an heirloom?

as far as i know my family doesn't have any heirlooms. but i've always wanted to get a kilt made with the family tartan on my dad's side because his mom was from scotland. so i think that would be something nice to pass on.

i have no intention of making a kilt, i have negative sewing skills lol
