I have to ask, what is the point in dragging things out till the last minute? We're not welcome, that much has been made abundantly clear, so it's just good manners to move on.

To respect those that wish to save the art before the mandatory deletion. I'm trying to plow through about 1,000 faves I never thought to save because I always thought they'd be there. Now as I rush to right-click-save I'm finding more & more of the deleted tags. Without even a notice as to what picture was there, I have no idea which artist just bailed like a rat in a barn fire. Can't go find them again.

Which is kinda dumb, I don't think I have cub art on my favl ist, but I do think it's unfair to ban something someone drew. because hey, art is art, draw it and it is drawn, share it and it has been shared. so not put covers on creativity, that's like a camers with it's cap still on, what are you goign to take pictures of with THAT there?

Precisely. According to several years ago, it's only a few ten thousand pictures to delete. Won't take any time at all!

I was going to remove the 8 or 9 pictures that I want to remove today, but I have decided to wait (only 1 of them truely would be deleted forever, the rest I wanna rework to include age-progression). :3

I've just been waiting for an excuse to leave this site. Plus, my gallery is on Inkbunny in its entirety. Not like people are going to be missing anything, so long as they join Inkbunny (my Mature and Adult submissions don't allow guest access).

Me, I took care of my gallery already, but then I didn't actually delete anything, just moved stuff to a different site and left forwarding addresses.

I just wish people could delete stuff without, you know, leaving blast craters in everyone's +fav's. It'll get mighty weird seeing pages pepper with thingies that do nothing more than say "Picture? What picture?"

IB has been getting more popular over the last couple months. It likely started as people creating a backup location for the eventuality of FA pulling this maneuver.. so it's not surprising really.

And FA will probably be dead in a year or two now.

I don't think I'd go that far in, there will be plenty of mundanes who have no issues with this or future AUP's (until it affects them).. and frankly, those that supported the changes to the point of partying it up.. well, I'd rather they stay with their own on FA. :)

I should rapidly post as much cub stuff from other sites to my gallery as fast as possible, or write a script to post every cub image ever made to my gallery and see them have fun with that.

most of us are leaveing so quickly to make a statement were washing our hands of this mess and meny of us want nothing to do with FA at this point we feel burned, abused and rejected by a camunity that should except us or at least tolerate us. after all to the rest of the world we are all "fur fags" regardless.


I personaly an LEAVEING my gallery as a statement to the midmins they can clean it up themselves if they want it gone but I wont waste a single second of my time removeing the images.

IMO the whole payment issue is simply a smokescreen for a deeper movement.. that's fine but remember those who are partying it up..

I may yet return again, we shall see. The otter your referring to I think bought land near where I lived, and my skunky friend also has land there too from what I understand. He wanted to buy the land I occupied but there was some mixup and he bought the wrong land.

I'm not sticking around FA much either. I've shifted my focus on InkBunny. However, I am not going to waste my time to go through and delete stuff... and if people wanted it, then I want to give them plenty of time to get it

I've only been around to clear out messages. And people have had plenty of time to back up my gallery if that was their inclination. Besides, several people have already made torrents of my gallery and posted links, so no one is missing anything.

They are all meeting the same fate.

People are leaving because those who hate cub porn are rearing heads and declaring victory, and in general, being very rotten sports about it. A friend supported me in his journal, even though he was not supporting cub porn. He was not being a total jerk about the thing.

That's why people are leaving this sinking ship. Because lots of other people are being total jerks, and th others won't stay if they're not wanted.

I know why people are leaving =) I don't mind that they are...

This happened last time. They said they wouldn't allow from-a-box poser art and all the poser artists got pissed, deleted everything, and left. Now this is happening the same way.
