Stole this idea from
rukis because I thought it was a great idea. Whether or not any of these wishes come true, I'd still love to spread the idea!
Step 1
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
Step 2
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
Step 3
The List
1. The number one gift for any artist or art-enthusiast is, well, art. The thought of having someone draw my character with their own hand, just for me, makes me giggle and feel all tingly inside. If anyone were to draw the only two known characters I have on here, James and my fursona Nyani, I would probably pee myself like an excited puppy (well, not literally pee myself xD)
2. Okay so, anyone who's read my last journal is aware that I'm in the brainstorming stage of creating an online comic; Anyone who read the comments is aware that I'm stumped on any concrete ideas and need to plot out a decent story board. Its weird but I'm gonna throw it out there, anyone with a good amount of creative juices, or someone good with turning creativity into solid productivity, if you would like to help me brainstorm then please let me know. Who knows, I might just need someone to tell my crazy concepts to, maybe that will get my juices flowing. I can only have one person though, because I want it to be a secret to everyone else. (Depending on how involved or sucked into my creative tornado of furry doom you get, I may credit you as the comic's co-creator, or like, concept guy.) The only catch is, no telling anyone, its a secret!
3. Friends here on FA. Truth be told I'm shy, and the only people here I've really talked to are my lovely watchers who regularily comment, and my commissioners >.< I'd like to have some friends here I can talk to, have some lol's with, or just random people I can talk to wall-to-wall. I don't bite, really! So if you'd like to have a random conversation or just get to know me a bit better, don't hesitate!
4. I have a weird wishlist... Actually I'm just weird. Since I've been here I've been working on better managing my time, improving my artwork and slowly becoming a little more professional. Over the short time I've been here I have strongly considered posting an ad here on FA; The problem is, I have -15% experience with flash, gif, tif, whatever the hell it takes to make those things. I would love if someone were to show me at least the very basics of what program to use, and how the hell to use it. I've been considering also, literally in the sense of the word 'commissioning' someone to create an ad for me (I pay you your asking price for creating the ad, and then I pay you a certain percentage of what I make while the advertisement is aired.) would anyone be interested in helping me out with this?
5. All the artwork I have on here is purely digital, however I do enjoy traditional very much, and hope to sooner than later post some works in real mediums. Therefore I'm simply throwing out that if anyone has any old, un-needed or unwanted art materials I would gladly take them. These can include (but aren't limited to) any sort of inking pens, inks themselves, colored pencils, markers (prismacolors or copics are what I've seen that are more for artists, but I don't think anyone in their right mind would wanna give away those), any kind of paint (watercolor, acrylics, oil, etc), any kind of paper (again watercolor, bristol, cardstock, sketch paper, etc), or anything random you don't want or need.
6. Theres way too many artists that get un-noticed, even those with great talent. If anyone knows of some talented, unknown, and/or underpublicized artists, throw me a link! I really need to expand my watch list, and I'd love to do so with artists like such.
7. I love to draw for people and draw people's characters, so I would always love to get more commissions!
8. KD. Damn right, Kraft Dinner. I live in Canada, so I gotta live up to my stereotype xD I heard rumors from friends of mine that in the US, Kraft Dinner is cheesier, and overall better than it is up here. I'd like to prove this theory. However I have never in my life been to the states and I don't think I'm going any time soon, so I have no way of getting it myself. If theres anyone who would like to help fulfill my ongoing curiosity to the truthfulness of this rumor, boy would that be my day. I mean really, its not easy, being cheesy.
9. Uhh.... I wish for more things to put on my wishlist!
10. I'll fill these last two in if I ever get any more wishes! I already have pretty much everything I could ever need in my life that theres not much more I could wish for. :3
PS. You can note me if you need to know my adress or paypal.
Now for those of you who read this whole thing, I encourage you to make up your own wishlist! As the season comes closer and the snow starts to fall I'm getting more into the christmas spirit and will be lurking around checking for other peoples wishlists and seeing if theres anything on there I could do.
Seasons greetings everyone! Well, early.
Also just wanna brag that my birthday is coming up on December 13th :3 IM SO EXCITED LOL
Time to go to bed now, I have a cold, and writing this journal isn't making it any better.

#2 Sometimes the easiest way to get ideas is to get them from your environment. You might try getting an RP started - perhaps MUCK, IM or Forum-based, and see if you can glean ideas as to what to sketch/draw inspiration from there. I've often thought it might be interesting to combine RP and a comic into a shared universe... perhaps following a set of main characters, or making it more broad by following the progression/interaction of a pack of wolves for instance but rewarding those who RP regularly, well with a cameo appearance... or if a particular RP scene catches your funny bone, then perhaps doing a quick comic or mini-arc on that. It's a kind of two-fold effect - the RP is fun unto itself, and can generate ideas and plots for you to draw from should you choose to... and the comic rewards good RP by encouraging more RP and thus more possible content. No need for a particular person then at that point to generate ideas - you can pluck them from your encounters and the player's logs themselves. Good social interaction too. :P
#3 Remind me to introduce you to Kirinafa (
#4 You might try speaking with Electrocat (
#5 I'll take a look around, but on my end there's not alot I don't use already. x.X; My airbrush and compressor is about it and that's just because I havn't found a good water to paint ratio for it yet to paint my Warhammer 40k models with.
#6 I'll keep an eye out.
#7 You can be sure you're on my short list, and are highly recommended within the small clique I suggested you try to hook up with above. :P Can't do a whole lot of commissions on a college student's budget, but if I'd like something, you're definitely a top choice of artist to commission from. ^^
#8 ._.;;; I burn water. >_<; A good meal I cook consists on how simple it is to make out of the package. XD; Sad, I know.
#9 + 10 *laughs!*
Keep up the good work and keep smiling! :D

#2 Great idea, when I find some more time I'll definitely try an RP! :3
#3 I've had the great pleasure of talking to all these people on livestream (with the exception of lady-puma) and their a great bunch :3 I hope to talk to them all more. I'd always love a chat with you too! ^^
#4 I'll definitely try to get in touch with her in the near future. I've clicked her ad and actually looked through a lot of her stuff and shes a great artist and seems to be very good with that kind of stuff. Maybe I'll check out watchtail.com too now that you mention it (I still haven't gone to watchtail D:)
#5 Its a long shot xD Pretty much every artist I know of holds on to even old materials, but there might be someone out there, who knows.
#6 That would be great ^^ I love discovering new talents xD
#7 :D :D :D :D :D that is so very awesome to hear that, and I feel so honored to be on that list :3
#8 "Its not easy... being cheesy." xD
:3 NOW YOU MAKE A WISHLIST SO I CAN CREEP IT.
