I hate snow. It's a nightmare to walk to school in, it's cold, it's annoying and it encourages chavs to throw snowballs at random pensioners. XD

Yeah, heard Britain got dumped with snow. Jack frost's giant pet Pigeon took a massive shit all over the British Isles. Well, try to make the most of it. At least you got a snow day for awhile, right?

Anyway, its only gonna get worse. And I think this is going to be a regular occurrence from now on in Britain. It would fit the new model of climate going to more extremes instead of warming completely

If this does become a new, regular occurrence then maybe Britain will be more prepared for it in the future. With the government being so penny-pinching now they're not gonna buy more gritters and other heavy winter equipment unless there is a very good reason for it. Canada and Scandinavia can handle this kind of winter every year but they always expect it. Until 3 years ago the winters in Britain have been mild. I remember when my mum used to say "You rarely see snow in britain" as the reason why a winter holiday in Britian was pointless

At least britain will get used to it in the event of a polar apocalypse. XD

So, how deep's the snow currently? Heard Britain might be short on consumer goods for christmas, and that would be a very heavy blow for the Economy

It's dying down but we're scheduled more and more, and ice too. At the highest around me it was a timid 5 cm or so. XD

I dunno, it was on Nat Geo. Apparently the guy who works the boiler that provides heating steam for the town hadn't been paid in six months but he keeps doing it because if he doesn't the whole town will freeze

And it apparently gets warmer the higher up you go. The town's located at the bottom of a peculiar valley where cold air is actually trapped, which is why the town is so ridiculously cold

Why do people live there? Is there any particular reason like natural resources or anything??

I'm not too sure, I guess they just settled there for some reason or another and have been there ever since. I'm pretty sure the current townspeople are proud of living there
