We had to write poetry in my class today. I don't write poetry but I think what I wrote came out well so I decided to post it.

I remember the sky, that beautiful sky, that lens flare glare
I remember the drive, the unpaved road, we were in the middle of nowhere
I remember the sight, of seeing you for the first time, my friend
I remember the laughs, acting as if we knew each other all our lives

I remember the colors, the blues, the reds, the yellows
I remember the heights, those colors reached into the heavens
I remember the thrills, of being hundreds of feet in the air
I remember the wheel, from where you flipped off the entire park

I remember the morning, waking up early to beat the crowds
I remember the firewater, what the hell was that anyway?
I remember the coaster, finally riding Millennium Force for the first time
I remember the best time of my life.
