Cloverfield

has anyone else been keeping track with the viral marketing of "Project Cloverfield"?
it's quite the interesting thing really, leaving me even MORE curious as to what the hell the monster in the movie looks like
for those of you who haven't seen the trailer:

VERY interesting
the movie's being made by J.J. Abrams, creator of the mystery fantasy series "Lost". and so far, we know just as much about this movie as we do about the lost plot :[ which is like, not much at all...
viral sites have popped up, including http://www.1-18-08.com/ and http://www.slusho.jp/
splattering us with several small clues and hints that are not easily deciphered at all.
The 1-18-08 site is very mysterious, hosting (EDIT)FIVE(EDIT) pictures that can be moved and flipped via flash, messages written on the back of two of the photos, though no real meaning can be found under the surface words. a few of the words are smudged, leading one to believe they might have significance, but nothing has been determined.
at exactly six minutes of the site sitting there, be it you moving things or not, a loud roar will sound, very similar to the noise made in the trailor.
I highlighed six above because it seems to be a rather popular number. the number six shows up in several other viral sites relating to the movie.
The slusho site also has a variety uses for the number. there are six flavors available, and the slogan for the 'company' though it is purely fictional, (the company is featured in J.J. Abram's show Alias's second episode) is "You can't drink just six". This is the biggest clue that Six is a big part of thier marketing clues, the number so prevalent everywhere else.
Another thing about Slusho is that it is fictionally located in japan, the place where Rob (the protagonist so it seems, of the cloverfield project) will be moving to (should he survive the sudden terror).
The Slusho backstory is quite interesting, mentioning several things relating to a "secret ingredient" found deep in the see and having to be kept frozen, sounding more like a living being rather than a mere ingredient, and when one goes to the final section of the site, the ingredients take the form of "robots", and the ability to combine the robots. this has led some to believe that the monster in the movie will possibly be either multiple monsters or one monster that can split into several parts.
There is a lot of mystery behind the movie, and I'm sure I've just barely scratched the surface of what is to be uncovered and what can be uncovered, but I'm hard on my way to discovering the truth!!!

then you skipped the clue where J.J. himself says "It's not Godzilla (you buncha fucking newbs, I hate you all, you can rot in a pit in hell and explode in the deepest pits for all I fucking care!)" the parenthesis is what he was thinking.
im really stumped on what it could be, im going to keep an eye on that cloverfeild clues blog though
I hope it turns out to be good.
my bets are on godzilla ORRR supposedly it's a Lovecraft story. these are 2 of the guesses, the first being very silly, second not so much.
It's hell on earth chappies!
The slusho site said something about "...like a whale traveling up the Thames River in London".
If you look on the teaser poster, you can see a trail in the water going towards the damaged part in the city.
But in the teaser trailer some guy says "it's a tiger, it's huge".
Obviously they're trying to confuse us, and it's working.
Just wondering if you have or haven't noticed this, what's your theory on all of it?
But I wanna know if it's some sort of creature that somehow relates to a whale or what.
That slusho site said whale like, so many times over.
