We are holding our first annual New Year's furmeet and you are invited.

we know a lot of people have things to do on New Year's but there are also people who don't have much to do and are quite bored. Well, My roommates and I are here to remedy that!

We have decided that we want to throw a party for our friends and ourselves. There are some plans and ideas of what to do, from a gift exchange to going out to fursuit to blowing up fireworks!

The celebrating begins December 30th and people can start showing up at our place by 2pm. We live in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and though that is a bit of a distance for a few people, that is also why we are going to have this meet last a few days in case some from further away want to come.

Most of the day will be people showing up and getting settled in. We are going to order pizza that night and we are also planning to go to the front street pub, a local bar that will have a friend's band playing. The music will be good and the booze will be available.

The 31st is going to be a free day to do as we will but there were some ideas that were thrown out there.
If you have a fursuit and you would like to bring it. We had planned to get a group to go to front street and interact with the people there. Natchitoches is quite the furry friendly town, and many people will take a lot of enjoyment in seeing some fursuiting antics.
Best thing is, if you don't want to suit, you don't have too! There are many activities going on and a lot of little shops to go in and out of.
That night will also consist of fireworks if anyone is interested and I am sure there will be copious amounts of silliness as we continue into the night.

The 1st is somewhat like recuperation day and we will be leaving that day to you to do as you will. However we will most likely head to eat a late lunch around one thirty or two at a local mexican resteraunt called El Napal.

The 2nd will be the day everyone will be saying their goodbyes. It's okay to stick around till about 4 o' clock, then, unless you are sticking around to help clean up, we will send you on your merry way!

We have a lot of games at the house, from board games to DDR to Rock Band and even have Super Smash brothers. We have a set up so that people will be able to navigate through the house easily and we will be providing breakfast, snacks and dinner. We will make light lunches during the day or most likely if you guys feel like going out just ask and we can give you the location of anything you need and we will make maps available.

Who you are
Who is coming with you if you are coming in a group
If you have any allergies
If you have any health concerns
If you are interested in helping out at all

We will then send a confirmation E-mail in response, giving you directions and our information, should you get lost or need to find us.
If you are not sure if you can come, but you want to, go ahead and drop us a line, giving us information, just make sure to let us know that you aren't going to know until after the deadline, then when the day comes and you find out whether or not you can make it, give us a ring and let us know if you will be on your way.

What you will need to bring!
Bedding- we don't have a lot of bed, but we do have floorspace, as well as a couch and a big recliner. These are first come first serve, so please to not fight over them. We also have one air bed.

Toiletries- We have a shower and you are welcome to use it(seriously, it's a great thing)! But you will want to bring your own towels as We only own about four and there are going to be several people here at this furmeet!

Money- While you are here you might find something that you are interested in getting, or you may even want to eat out. In fact we have a day planned to eat out. While a large majority of places do accept credit cards, debit cards and even a few accept checks(though not many), cash is accepted everywhere.

Gift- Yes, a little something that you find, don't spend more then 20$ please and
if you so desire you can even make something! We want to play a game and it would be somewhat like a secret santa game, only no one knows who they are shopping for and, because we're furries, it's okay to be a little crazy.

clothing- even if you are here for one day, you might want an overnight bag, you never know if you are going to spill something on yourself or someone might spill it on you.

Art- are you an artist? then bring your stuff! I'm sure that while we are together there will be plenty of opportunity to show off your skill and maybe even do a few trades/ make a little extra money!

Booze- We are going to be getting a pretty decent amount, but once that amount is gone through, it's gone. If you want to bring some you are more then welcome to. And if you want to buy some once you get here that's fine two. We have two well stocked liquor stores not to mention a couple drive through daqari stores.

Badges, tails, fursuits, etc..- It's a furmeet, so let's have fun and make it crazy!
Also, if you have a fursuit and you bring it. We will be thinking of getting a group together and going to fursuit out on front street.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY WEAPONS INTO OUR HOME!
While we understand that it can be a good idea to have something to protect yourself with while traveling, once you are here you will be a-okay. So, unless otherwise specified, please leave those things in the car. We do have a shooting range out at Grand Ecore and you are welcome to go out there and enjoy yourselves with practicing. They have a closed ranged and we are checking to find out if they also have an open range (which we are almost positive that they do).

PLEASE DO NOT HAVE YOUR PET WITH YOU UNLESS IT IS A SERVICE ANIMAL!
We love furry little critters. We have several ourselves. But even we are sending off our pets to stay with their granma for the weekend.So please, unless it is a service animal or you have gotten permission from us beforehand, don't bring your little Fluffikins.

THIS IS A ZERO TOLERANCE PARTY!
What you do in your own home is up to you. We don't mind at all, but please, for the sake of this party, leave your drugs at home. We won't call the cops on you if we catch you with it, but we will have to ask you to leave.

IMPORTANT!!
IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 AND YOU DO NOT HAVE PARENTAL CONSENT, WE CANNOT LET YOU JOIN THE PARTY!
We love kids, and we know there are a lot of younger furries, which is great, but because of the booze and the stuff going on, unless we get an a-okay from your parents, it's not going to happen. and by an a-okay, that means we need a phone call or we get to meet them when they drop you off.

IF YOU ARE UNDER 21 YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE ALLOWED TO DRINK!
It is going to be a great time for all, but if you are under 21 we aren't going to be able to allow you to drink. If you are caught drinking, we will have to ask you to leave (after you sober up of course). But don't worry, there will be plenty of fun things going on anyway.

OVER 21?
Well, then you don't have much to worry about!
I will give a general warning however, we have some lovely neighbors who are in law enforcement, and they are wonderful people. So wonderful, in fact, they are agreeing to help keep an eye on vehicles, give help to those of you who need it, and to also come over and arrest anyone who gets too out of hand. But we are almost positive the third one will be unneeded.
