Well after he blows up the shield generator, he really doesn't do anything else in the movie. BUT. These three missions were made specifically for making the story never happen. You fight and kill Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the other missions.
Oh? Even better! I never played the missions (despite getting the Ultimate Sith Edition last Christmas). After playing FU II and then going back to I just makes me throw a tantrum.
Because they took two of the most popular characters from the franchise and not only did they kill them off but killed them off in the most degrading way possible.
Its like if Darth Vader tripped while he threw the emperor and fell down the pit aswell.
You know, I don't even get it. What is the appeal here? Who plays this shit? We start out the with the central premise being that you're playing the bad guy. Okay, great, but there's just one thing: that the Empire would win - what with having a Death Star, a massive battle fleet, an army of clones, and the vast majority of the entire fucking galaxy at their disposal - was a foregone conclusion, averted only by heroics and extreme good luck. Way to make the gamer feel skillful and indispensable to the plot. Okay, whatever; we already know that Lucas is a hack without his wife to curb his Jar-Jar instincts.
But then we go on to slaughter two central characters, and do so in the same disinterested manner with which one might eat a potato chip. Aside from the canon-defying, narrative-gutting horse crap, killing off the heroes as though they were battle fodder smacks of petty sociopathic glee. We're backing the guys who blow up planets just to prove how evil they are. Presumably we go on from here to execute a line of bound Ewoks with a weed whacker. It's a good thing that behaviour in games count as practice at being a remorseless shit in the real world, yeah? But let's move on to the third travesty here.
I felt my stomach being absorbed and my face turned green. I literally felt depressed after watching this, it was AWFUL. I like that you can choose the evil path... but this, this is more than just slaughter of two heroes. This is slaughtering CHILDHOOD for some people.
Are you really surprised? Did you play Force Unleashed II? They already raped the SW canon by "cloning" a Jedi. So it doesn't shock me in the least to see them casually kill off two of the most iconic characters of the series like they were total scrubs. Keep in mind this is a DLC add-on too, which tends to be even lamer than the main story arc, and FU2's story was about as horrible as SW stories get. I actually LAUGHED at the light side ending in FU2, because it was so ludicrous.
*ENDING SPOILER ALERT*
Vader being TAKEN PRISONER by the Alliance? Ahahaha, riiiight. What're they gonna do in FU3? Kill off Luke Skywalker in stage 1? =P
Besides, it seems to be Lucas' calling card to kill off major players in anticlimactic ways. Boba Fett? Punked. Jango Fett? Punked. Count Dooku(sp?)? Punked. Darth Maul? Punked. So I guess it's only natural for them to treat Chewy and Solo like disposable fodder to further try to make Lucasarts' lame "super jedi" character ... a clone, no less ... seem that much more bad ass for a cheap thrill.
...
...
...Since I seen this video and begin wondering of how is this taken place and this is the most offensive part I've seen in Star Wars Chewie and Solo should not be killed for god sakes they're fucking cool! Why Lucas Arts?! Why the hell this had to happen?! >=T
>canon
Why are you mad :c

Damn Lucas Arts :<
