One of the admin accounts was (Dragoneer's I think). And of course admins can pretty much do whatever the fuck they want with the site.

An admin's account was compromised. My account wasn't the only one that got messed up.

What do you mean by compromised? What happened to your account exactly?

It means "no longer secure". When an admin's account is stolen, the thief can use the admin's account to mess with all other accounts, because it's an admin account. My account was one of those messed with.

Are you saying that your artwork can be stolen on this FA account?

Stolen is a misleading term that's confusing you here. "Taken over" is more accurate. Someone gained access to the accounts that have special admin-only abilities, such as the ability to ban users, change their status to admin/member/deceased/banned/etc, bulk-delete other peoples entries, artwork, notes, journals..

The comment that art has to be re-uploaded probably means that while there's backups of the text content of each deleted page than can be un-deleted, the images on those pages are fully deleted from the system and need to be re-submitted (I would expect this is probably a disk-space saving feature since text-only backups would take up far less space than the images as well would).

so thats probably what happened to mel the hibrid too , she got her password and email changed

They really should have checked through Ratte's account activity logs before promoting him to admin. If they had checked through it and noticed that there were multiple IP addresses accessing his account, then this could have been avoided by having him change up his password before his promotion.

Me too. They probably did it for security reasons, so maybe change your password too, just to be on the safe side.
