If it is in the fur fandom, it is so. Blow hole existence and position is all up to artist and whoever uses the fursona. I would just have two small slits on the top of the beak, personally. I would hate a huge hole in my head.

I drew it near the top of his head and referenced from an actual killer whale's blowhole...which is like a valve really, it closes up. Now I wonder if anthro whales inhale and exhale constantly like land mammals...or take a deep breath and just hold it for 4 or 5 minutes before breathing again.

Well, I thought about that... But my last (and only) anthro-orca (which happened to be "Toumal") was drawn in a view angle where you CANNOT see the breathing hole. ^___^

Also depends what the blowhole is actually for, one might put it where it best serves the same purpose but on an anthro.
