It's possible, I suppose, although I'd've thought they'd say something about it if they took the shoutboxes offline, to prevent hordes of people complaining about it.

Maybe, I guess maybe they never said or even it may have been disabled as a result of the damage by hacking.

Probably it was taken down to prevent trolls from spreading drama everywhere due to recent hacking.

I highly doubt that it's hackers' job, since they would like the drama to happen. :P

lol probably. I guess though if it was intended serious hacking, then maybe it was intentional to stop communication to some extent.

Dragoneer, the staff, and some users got their notes leaked last night on lulz.net/furi/. Trouble tickets were leaked too.

Everyone panicked and deleted their notes.

There are XSS vulnerabilities still on the site.

FA is in anarchy until the data centre pulls the plug, and then FA is gone for good. Unless Dragoneer decides for the first time in 3 years to actually pull it together and fix the site.

Ah they're trying, just the money they need for the site is often spent on keeping it running. But yeah, hope they can pull the site together again.

The damage was minimal, the rest was just a result of paranoia. The site will be pulled back together quickly. :3 And from what I seen there was only one serious case revealed by the leak, but I would cause a drama sooner or later, even without this whole hack. Honestly, nothing on the Internet is safe, Dragoneer and rest of the admins are doing their best to keep FA running.

I'm pretty sure if you decided to hire a fulltime codewriter to fix the site (kinda like he's been for the past three years that he hasn't "pulled it together") he'd be happy to receive the help :}

I don't know why exactly because the forums are down too. I found out about the whole hack business when I was poking around on the pages of artists that I peek in on every now and again. His page had a lot of links that go back to the Lulz page and I read a thread. I guess someone was able to read a lot of the admin's notes which have a lot "rest of the story" of issues with mods and users so everyone's dirty laundry just got posted there.

I'm assuming that the admins disabled everything to cut the drama fallout as much as they could for now.

Yeah, I would assume that Dragoneer will make an explanation post by the end of the weekend. As far as the original hacking problem I've no idea if or how they are going to fix that.
