Glancing at my journal timestamps, I see that it has been four months since I last updated you all with a promise of stories soon to come. Well, apparently "very soon" means 4 months.... Ugh....

I do humbly apologize for such a delay. It's been over a year since I last submitted a story, and that's far too long, in my opinion.

The reason for these delays is that, despite my love of writing, I am a very picky writer. I've never really bought into the idea of a "shoddy first draft," so I am meticulous as I write. I've spent an hour or more on a single sentence, laboring over which words captured my thoughts the best. Add to this the fact that I'm quite easily distracted and a terrible procrastinator, and you have a recipe for disaster.

All this from a guy who has yet to post a real story instead of just smut. (Yes, I suppose Dingo's Choice would count, but even that had one section devoted almost entirely to sex...)

So, I present "One Night in Alaska" as a belated little gift for the holidays, and again offer my apologies for taking so bloody long to even post this.

That being said, I am making an early resolution for the new year. I resolve to post one story every two months, at the very least.

As I continue to work on Jenna's Second Welcoming and a special side-project, I will keep you updated on a few other developing stories that as of yet have no name.
