Oh there's plenty of them on the road too. The dog sometimes finds pieces of them and brings them into the yard so she can eat them and barf and then eat the barf.

I see lots of those types of cats snuffling around in the grass on the side of the road, here. And just about as many squashed in the middle of the street.
