Happy New Year!
We wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year. May everyone have a wonderful and successfull 2011. Much has happened to us in this past year that we are thankful for, and we hope to continue to have many more in the future. We also hope that all of you have had a great year, and may continue to have things you are thankful for.
In other news things have been busy on this end and we've not been around much. We will try to hit a few cons in this coming year but are not sure which as of yet.
So we've been chatting with a few friends of ours recently about fursuit makers. There are so great makers out there each with their own style and creativity. Now we know that these makers get their furs from either markets, or different fur providers through the internet. Our question for all of you is what do you recommend for websites to obtain fur. If you want something thats decently priced per yard but a good quality where would you go? Wed like to get some fur for a potential future project but don't know where to begin. Anyone who can provide some insight on the subject it would be greatly appreciated.
Until then take care all.
You friends,

I have been using Pacific Fabrics & Crafts, via their mail-order warehouse in Seattle. I used to go there in person, and was pretty impressed. Though they're not a direct wholesaler or manufacturer of fur fabric, they seem to carry a much broader selection of fur than most large-ish fabric stores. As for price though, they're pretty average-to-high. (~$20-30 USD). Elsewise, I'm Stuffed Fur, CR Crafts, and Mendel's Fabrics are good ol' standbys.
