My 7 year old Rat Terrier has started peeing in our house for some reason. He especially likes to pee on this small green area rug I have in my bathroom. I have had to wash it several times in a week and as soon as I put it back on the floor he pees on it again. I have tried bringing him into the room and making him look at the spot and yell "No, bad dog" and all that but it doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? it's really getting annoying and every once and a while I step in it...yuck.
