For some, depending on what your line of work is, what your vacation plan is like, things like that take precedence. If you can't make it, I understand; I had to skip a couple of cons I wanted to attend in the last couple of years for money reasons. But if you make it (even if it's only on a day pass) don't be too shy. It would be a pleasure to meet you. I'm pretty shy sometimes about meeting people too.
