I'm about 50 miles from Lancaster/Palmdale and CA City :3 I go there quite a bit to go rock climbing and taking my car out on the trails!

you have my condolences for living in the THAT part of the state. placer county (and the northern sierras) is my home, and its neighboring counties in california and nevada are my past and possibly future prowling ground.

Wanna bet? There are close to 30 in the Santa Clarita Valley alone. I hold movie nights for them to come to usually monthly, and we even have our own cookouts from time to time as well.

I've got a big interest in California City personally. All that desert and all those roads...its a pretty neat place. It's also home of the Hyundai/Kia test track, where I'd be lying if I said I hadn't dreamed of working.
