Plotting out...plots. Also, Cthulhu!

I tried something different with the story I'm working on now; instead of just getting an idea and plowing ahead, I mapped it out from beginning to end, making a quick text outline. We'll see if this helps me stay on track with it a bit better.
Also, my copy of the Call of Cthulhu RPG sourcebook, purchased with Xmas gift card funds, should be here tomorrow! Now all I have to do is find some people willing to descend into sanity-blasting fun. :)

As far as Mr. Tentacles goes...that's a decent system, but it's really annoying having all your source material in one book. Be prepared to use a ton of post-it notes. :P
Yeah, I've been listening to some examples of CoC gaming sessions, and it sounds like there's ample note-taking for all involved. XD
