Youtube beginning to SUCK?

You can't view anything on Youtube without a google account now. Sounds to me like the first step in Youtube SUCKING.

Yeah, I logged in and it sent me right to Youtube, then I tried to look up Real Folk Blues and it went right to a screen to link my goggle and Youtube account. I ignore it and it brought up the results for the search. I click a video and it took me right back to the account links thing.

Ummm i have a Youtube Account and channel and never have to worry about that shit and i am on Youtube right now sucking off music to my HD

Yeah, I dunno what was up. For a long time I was getting a "Got a google account? Link up! Linking accounts means more security" and finally last night I couldn't watch anything. I'd click the video I wanna see and it'd take me right back to that screen.

The Google Account isn't anything special. It will just make your e-mail linked so, that in every website that is owned by Google, you won't have to make separate accounts, but it's enough if you log in with your e-mail. Pretty handy if you ask me.
