About feral cubs, I think this admin has broken the rules. It says in the AUP that only "human-like" characters are not allowed. Have you told dragoneer yet? I'm sure you are entitled to complain about this admin.

Admins don't care. She has been suspended in the past for her inappropriate admin actions (or something like this), nothing has changed. Of course, I'll complain to Dragoneer if feral cubs are allowed after all, but I seriously doubt anything will change. I'm used to this, it's always this way; either you accept who admins are, or find some other place. And it happens quite often when great places have terrible admins. Live with that, survive the way you can. Nothing will change. A lot of other people are worth being here.

Drage's, not Dragoneer's. If she wiped Dragoneer's, she'd be instantly permanently banned. :D

A recent hack attack was based on a trivial or shared password of some of the admins, or something like this (don't you read the news? :) ). One of the persons who got access to the admin tools decided it'll be fun to wipe galleries of the most popular artists like Zen, Fisk etc. Dragoneer's gallery was wiped out during this attack too. (Stupid hackers. There were much more funny things to do! You know, like downloading private notes of every user on the site, then sharing the archive...)

I did hear about the attack but I don't really know the details. I heard some notes were leaked but I though Neer deleted his own gallery.

I just got a response from pinkuh and she said they are discussing the issue of feral cubs. What she said specifically is that if their personalities are too childlike it might cause problems. We should hear more about it soon.

yes, it was Drage's account that was wiped, and when Drage's posted a WTF journal about it, the admin erased it too, then another WTF journal, and another erasure + tempban. then Drages did do wrong by evading the ban and it became permanant. but the admin was completely out of bounds in how they went about the whole thing... this was long before the attack though, and before the banning of cub art, though the same admin in question leaked info onto their LJ (i think it was LJ) and intentionally stirred drama before the ban came into effect. also not admin-worthy antics.

It's a common faulty practice of FA administration. As stupid as it is, admins often post this kind of shouts "to avoid drama". That is, so that people couldn't post bad things while a banned person can't reply. Of course, if you post good things, you'll be banned too, but no one cares.

During banning of Drages I've also found out that mentioning ANY user's name in your journal could result in the journal being removed, if the mentioned user reports you. Basically that means you can't mention anybody's name at all.

For me, it's a whole new level of FUBAR moderating.

yep, and there is no point in trying to open a trouble ticket or anyting to complain about admins, because its all a buddy-buddy system, and nothing would change.

The funny thing with reporting admins through the ticket system is that the reported admin can reply to your complaint. :)

You should keep a backup gallery in some other site. Sofurry would work just fine, I'm sure.

It's too late to talk about backups. :( InkBunny seems to be popular among cub porn artists, but technically only one picture in my gallery was violating new cub rules, so I wasn't considering IB.

I meant from now on. I have some of your pics in store, and I'm sure that somebody else has all of them. You've lost comments, but I don't think they're irreplaceable. I've gotten the impression that InkBunny is ambivalent about ferals, in turn. SoFurry would be a safer bet in your case.

All pictures removed from my gallery are toon ferals, I'm pretty sure they're safe on IB. Well, until they decide to change the rules too. :) And I hope their removal system is more up to date, not ancient like here... Almost every cub porn artist moved there, so it's not just a matter of preference, but a matter of where your fans expect you to be.

Also, SoFurry is slooow... And it's historically more adapted to stories, not pictures. I don't see many artists there.

I'm afraid it's not the mods who found my gallery (they don't care until someone reports it), but some user who has reported me. I remember him nagging me about picture by Edis Krad. Indeed, it was the first picture removed, before the whole gallery. He won.

But still who ever mod removed all the feral cubs , should not have as it is agesnt there rule, but it was there own opinions they went on and hence by listening to this person that mod did wrong (like so many other fa mods )

I'd recommend you to move to Inkbunny or SoFurry until the current mess here has been fixed.

I think the TLK pics where removed because u said u used a TLK background, i did the same with some bambis in my gallery and that was the reason i changed the backgrounds and reposted it and it worked just fine, but i recmed you make an Ink Bunny account Too so you have a back up of your pics and comments.
