Please don't promote the breeding of Wolf/dog hybrids people

I get that you might be a good owner for such an animal! I get that you have experience.
For fuck's sake, at least rescue. It makes me rage when people think it's a-okay to promote the breeding and selling of an animal that should not be a pet.
Get a husky. Adopt a mutt. Get something that isn't part fucking wolf.
Wolf-dog hybrids should not exist as pets, period. If one needs to be rescued, it's lovely that there are people that can handle such an animal. I see no other excuse otherwise.
Don't be selfish, adopt an animal that's meant to be a pet or just can't be wild because it was wrongfully bred as one.

It's also a case of what's legal to own and if they find you with an illegal wolfdog, it'll end up destroyed.
Also seconding the not-a-wolf-at-all comment by McCoy, you'd be seriously surprised how wolfish a GSD can look!
It really annoys me when there are all these homeless dogs but OMG NO I NEED A WOLFDOG. Like Starfinder, who is permabroke but had to go out and get herself a supposed wolf hybrid for some bizarre reason. You need a huge amount of space, food and time and effort to give these unfortunate dogs the right home and a lot of people can't manage that at all.
I can really think of nothing positive you gain from a wolfdog that you could not have more of, easier, in an adopted dog. Other than image.
I get that there ARE unfortunate hybrids out there, but they go to sanctuaries (like one Vantid visits, which is awesome) and experienced people. NOT "I-know-wolfs-I-studied-them-for-yars-stfu-meaniepants" wolfaboos.

Agreed! It's reasonable to want a specific breed, but at least rescue people!
Besides, I'd say 3/4 of people who are selling alleged hybrids really just have GSD/husky mutts anyway. olol dumb people getting ripped off

spoiler: only like 2 out of 30 results will look at all like a genuine hybrid to someone who knows what to look for. Yet, they will all cost the same outrageous amount of money.
It does have a darker side, though- it fools people in to thinking they have a really friendly wolf hybrid (when they really just have a dog), and causes other people to think they're just like dogs in behavior, as well.

All the white in the garden is the fluff we had to brush out of him XD SO MUCH HAAAIIIIRR.
He was a pedigree dog but had some confortmation problems (too tall I think) and he had an undesireable coat colour so we got him.
I really want to get a rescue dog when I can adopt one.
