Do you ever wonder if there's a reason it crashes? Random occurrences happen, that's a fact, but when they happen in such a way that seems significant somehow, do you think that is a sign or simply more randomness?

Example, let's say as a result of the game crashing, you go outside to take a walk and vent, only to find a $20 bill on the ground. You wouldn't have found it (event B) unless the previous event (event A; the game crashing) happened, so it justifies the reason the crash happened.

If that makes any sense at all.

I was walking and instead of stopping and crossing the street when I wanted to somthing kept me going. about the time I would have been in the middle of the street, a car ran the red light. I could have died but I didn't.

I'm someone who just believes to his own feelings and if I'm unsure I try to find someone who I think is the best one to giving an advice in a subject.
If those signs made you think to change your mind you can try that way but if you have big trust in what you do is right then took that path. Sorry if that seems like something that won't help you. I'm a silly one when it comes to signs I think(^.=.^')

Yes, like I noticed how most people stop when there's a stop sign, or when there's a sign that says "railroad X-ing", there's a rairoad crossing the street. Very bizare coincidences indeed.

To me, yes it is coincidence. I don't let something random tell me what to do, and you shouldn't either.

Horoscopes are built with common and broad assumptions. The people who write them know that people who read them are looking for something mystical or magical and connect something in their life with the content of the horoscope.

Particularly, I like it when something happens that annoys or upsets me, but later I realize it's a good thing, or better than the alternative.

As for the astrology/horoscope thing happening, I don't really believe in that, but I'm gonna miss being a Pisces. :(

When I saw the title of your journal, I had a feeling you weren't talking about astrology. Good thing, I don't know anything about it lol. I can't say for sure if what happened to you was a coincidence or something meant to be a sign. However, I do believe in signs. It happened, to me on a few occasions. I know what you mean, a specific unexpected event changing what you were intending to do then ultimately causing something else to happen that you did not plan on but wound up being a better outcome than what you were expecting. My take on it is this, if you were not enlightened about anything or did not notice any greater meaning, then it's not a sign, just randomness. However, if you do see a greater meaning or were enlightened, if it made a significant impact on you, like it has with you, then I say that it was a sign. I believe in order for a sign to exist, we need to recognize them. Signs get there power from their recipient. I hope what I'm saying makes sense. I mean that a sign is meaningless, without the person the sign is meant for seeing it as a sign. Also, it may be a higher being trying to guide you, at least that's what people hope it is when these occurrences happen.

PS: I don't know what happened, but I hope someday the happy buizel comes back to you.

"Coincidences" and "signs" are pretty much just our ways of subconsciously convincing ourself of things we didn't really want to believe, but knew were true. If we "see" some sort of supernatural (or even natural) occurance that seems to hint us towards it, for some reason that's what it takes to give us the push in the right direction.

So chances are, if the "sign" you saw was a hint that you had to do something, it was probably something you already knew you were going to have to do anyway, but didn't want to admit it to yourself.

It's really hard to say as I've never quite had one myself, least that I can remember.
Though from what I've heard from others, as well how things tend to turn out I think they very well can be true.
Either way you look at it, it couldn't hurt to give things some time eh? Here is hoping your sign has been for the best and that things really get better for you, try and stay positive my friend!

I don't think there's any higher power, so by that standard, no higher power could be guiding you by crashing your computer.

Honestly, I think a higher power could make things a lot clearer if he wanted to guide you down a certain path.

Although in that regard, I think trying to guide you would violate free will.

Also, it seems rather arbitrary that he would send you a sign of some sort, but ignores hundreds of other people who are going down paths that may be harmful. Because, consider this.

If there were a higher power, he would be intelligent enough to know now strong of a sign you would need to know to change your path, and would know if a weaker sign wouldn't be strong enough to do so. In that light, if signs exist, people should never go down the wrong path. Either that, or said higher power deliberately chose to give sign weak enough that it wouldn't move someone onto a better path.

But people do go down bad paths, therefore, I would say, signs don't exist, whether or not a higher power exists.

On the other hand, if something happened that makes you question a path your own, evaluate your options without trying to guess the will of any higher power. You are much more likely to come to a beneficial decision in that manner.
