this is an email to my father from my uncles wife, and it reads (i edited out names but you can get the just of it)

**my fathers name**.... in light of how things are these days and combined with recent events....
i pray that you remove **MY NAME**'s pic with his camo and ak47.... if it gets spread around
and homeland security finds it.... you could both get targeted, pulled in for questioning...
and you could lose your job or any other associated with any military contract... and
be out on the street....
its a judgement call.... and i have thought for many days .... that its just insane... and
nothing to be proud of.... not worth any of what you are risking to be "cool"...
what do you think?

After we went shooting last year, and brought a padded vest with us to help tame the recoil of some heavy .500 AHR handloads, we got a little visit by police counter-terrorism investigators. I guess they realized how dumb that was, so they haven't come back.
