Since I had my plates stolen from my car, I had to go down to the DMV to get new one's. It cost me 17 dollars and 45 minutes in line.
For all of you drivers, I would reccomend you go down to your local hardware store and pickup some allen or torx head stainless steel screws. They only cost me .33 cents per, and another .40 or so for the allen tool (more for the torx of course).
Now it will be a lot harder for a passerby plate thief to snag them.
