NONE FOR YOU

Shibara's free pic thing is done, so no more posting on that journal or whatever. XD
My CoC book arrived! I've been reading it an listening to some recordings of games over on yog-sothoth.com; it sounds so damn fun. If you've played D&D, it's like that, except you play a regular person and it's an unbelievably bad idea to try and fight the monsters. There's a lot more focus on role-playing and investigation, which is really interesting and seems to be a good deterrent against powergaming. If you've read anything of Lovecraft's you know what I mean; when faced with a horror from beyond space and time, you're much more likely to faint than hit it with an axe. X3
Stories with big ladies. Workin' on 'em.

I only have rudimentary knowledge of Lovecraft and I played this PC/Xbox game called "Call of Cthulu." But the concept of sanity and being scared of monsters a-la "Amnesia: Dark Descent" seems really nice.
There was this really funny DnD game I found on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqXqK3ZlqWI which you may want to watch if you haven't. Has Wil Wheaton from Star Trek and some other people. It is apparently a second game continuing on the first one they did.
Try not to look for the game elsewhere as it contains spoilers. All you probably need to know is that Wil Wheaton's character in the last game had died a horrific death, and the whole party is called "Acquisitions Incorporated."
Yeah, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is based on a CoC campaign called Escape from Innsmouth! I'm already thinking up ideas for scenarios and such, despite not having a group. But c'mon, who could resist the chance to solve eldritch mysteries and blast cultists with a Chicago Typewriter? X3
Stories with big Cthulhu-type ladies? :P
Hey, you never know when the Great Old Babes will rise. X3
That is all.
