Have any stories?

Mostly of weird, scary, funny, or just down right insane things that have happened when you rode. Even racing this journal rea lly has no limits (but it still has to pertain to bikes), but if you'd like to share one of these stories go for it.
I'll go first, ok there I was I had just took out my first attempt at a cafe racer, made by only my hands (heres a pic http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4071896/ ) it was only a cb200t and knowing its past top speed which wasn't that great i didn't have that high of hopes for it; little did i know. So going to my usual spot for testing top speeds of different thing i noticed on the ride there it was a little more peppy and just felt different the sound, the ride, and every thing was just amazing. Stopping at the end of the strip just gave me the chills. I got off the bike and gave it the once over just to be safe and i checked every thing even the pegs. After seeing all was good i hoped back on and just let the vibrations calm me because at that moment i knew that this was the craziest thing (probably the most unsafe thing as well) i would be doing at that point in time. I had to give it hell and that i did. hammering through the gears laying as flat as i could i couldn't but help notice the speedo just blowing past the old speed before i knew it i was doing over 90 miles an hour on a 200 of all thing, sure ive gone faster but that had to be one of the best moments in my life up to that point not because of the speed but because for once i built something great something that worked and i was proud of that bike more the a father seeing his son score the winning goal with a slit second left on the clock. That to me was bliss. But as soon as i got back both my tires at nearly the same exact time blew out on me... again. moral here dont trust tires XD
Have fun. Btw sorry this is so long but i got caught up in that day again ^^ ~k9-C.

Ive a few stories, each spectacular but Ill not hog the spotlight.
Ill go with a "theres no way that happened" one that even I still have trouble believing it happened but it did.
I was out riding about on the ZZR. theres a stretch of back road that goes a good 12 mile stretch with only one stoplight from my city to two cities over that links up to a local university. speed limit on the road is 55mph. I had checked out the weather with there only being spot sprinkles so didn't pay it any mind. got to the university to take a peek at some of the new riders training in the University parking lot when I saw a very bright flash and immediately after a loud bang. Bad bad news. close lighting means that not sprinkles but downpours are about to happen. so I closed the face shield on my helmet, started the bike and gently made my way out of the university. soon as I passed the 55 mph limit sign, I punched it at a good 60mph. I peek in through my mirrors and see the cars back already have their headlights on. great. thinking to myself I need to find a spot to pull over and get wet. next thing I know is I pass in front of a speed trap cop car that just clocked a sport biker doing 5 miles over. saw the lights go on, and pretty much gave up the possibility of being dry for the other part of the day. im slowing down, and the cop is now right behind me, and suddenly I hear a voice "GO GO GO GO GO!" I look back to see the wall of water that's engulfed the cop car, which now has his lights off, and the officer frantically flailing about inside the car at me to punch it.
I oblige and hit up the 55mph limit with the cop car right behind me hollering at me ever so bit to keep going, just a bit more. we went fast enough to pull out of the wall of water and make it to a gas station overhang to rest a bit while the rain poured. I shut down the engine, and take off my helmet, as the cop pulls in next to me and gives me a big smile saying to me that he also rides and couldn't find it in him to make me stand in the rain storm. I get no warning or ticket just a heads up to not just look at the weather channel next time but to look at the radar. I told him I appreciate it and yea, still baffles me to this day
