This semi behind me hit ice and spun sideways across the highway. Two guys in an SUV rear ended the semi and another vehicle slid down into the median. I got out of my car and ran back to the accident while I was calling 911. In the time it took me to get the worthless truck driver to tell me where his fire extinguisher was the tiny little fire by the head lamp had consumed so much of the vehicle I just called it a lost cause. No one was badly injured, but one guy cut the shit out of his hand. He was bleeding pretty badly but his buddy I got him to hold a field dressing on it until the EMT's showed up. I've seen a vehicle fire or two, I'm just surprised this one went from so little fire to so much fire that quick.

I tried but my phone did the instant low battery thing it does when I try to take to many pictures or videos.

I wish I had gotten the rear window and tail lights exploding on video. Apart from that and how fast it took it was a pretty boring fire.

HMMWV's burn really fast too. Especially when some dumb shit leaves the brake on and doesn't put it in neutral when it's being towed. Turns out, that causes the rotors to heat up really quickly.

Who'd've thought THAT?

Yeah I can see that creating an issue or two.

Step 1: Put s'mores ingredients in glove box.
Step 2: Die trying to save s'mores ingredients from burning vehicle.

Step 3: Remove s'mores ingredients before summer.
