furry as cool

A revolutionary idea I've always pushed for; that furry and an outside sense of cool can intersect. It's a narrow crossway right now, but

wattsonbarnes is doing a damn fine job of trying to record every instance on his blog for all to appreciate.

If you want a safe way to proclaim your furvity - use this! ;)

Also...any suggestions? Can you guys think of anything he's missing?

Well, I'm talking about mainstream (and the mainstream underground's) interpretation of cool. As opposed to idealized or individually subjectivity. I know it's a super gray area rife for debate - that's why I'm sticking to generalizations. You know, "what the majority of everyone else thinks." And the majority of everyone else is not going to think something like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5130381/ is cool.

To be clear, just because something is "uncool" doesn't mean it's bad or unworthy.

so am i, isn;t Marvel and DC "cool" and they have Tigra and Cheetah, heck both those characters got limelight in their respective tv shows (Avengers and Justice League)

Furry content outside of the fandom is mostly geared towards a youth audience (in our culture). What encourages me is the attempt to break it out as a respected and "cool" field for mature audiences, as well.
