FC trip report: Whooo.

Hello!
So, by now, you've probably realized that I've been to FC, or FurCon, or Further Confusion, or the Gates of Hell, depending on who you ask. And yes, I came back safely. (Safe was the journey, anyway, but something came along for the ride. More on that later.)
Thursday: Arrived at 2 to find
amtrack88 in the lobby. After a bit, we find that we're in Room 2012 (The Apocalypse Suite, as I called it), and we unpacked. I forgot that I had packed no pants, I had to call home to get them. Whoops. Fortunately, it is around an hour/half-hour ride there from where I am, so it was not too troubling. Met 
keenyfox and 
domafox while picking up my pre-reg badge. Went out to dinner with Amtrack and Keeny and a couple roommates. Then went to the dance later that night; awesome.
How come more people don't pre-register? That doesn't make any sense.
Friday: Up at nine, out by ten, pick up pants, back to the room again. Then into the Dealer's Room, where after some browsing, I settled on getting a nice sketch from
mongooseink. I'm quite pleased with the result, and I wish I had a scanner/good camera so I could share it with you all! (He didn't finish it till the next day since he had other drawings to do too, but still, hahaha). Spent some time in the pool; a bit closer to cold than tepid, but still pretty enjoyable. The sauna was comfy, as well. That was pleasing.
Saturday: Out by eleven to the dealer's room, where the sketch from MDG was waiting, then I decided to get one from
moredena, which turned out very nice. Fursuit parade at noon; judging by the cheers, my suit was very well-received. Don't really remember what I did after that...played some games, went to dinner at Pizza My Heart, and some time at the dance.
Pizza My Heart was very overrated, by the way; that was nasty pizza.
Sunday: Pack up out of the room, join
snowmeow101 and his roommates. Fortunately, by noon, I'm all settled in, and go to the Critterlympics. Very disorganized, but I did have fun.
Went browsing around the Dealer's Room some more, caught the FC: Unleashed show too. Didn't get anything special this time around, though. Instead, I hung on to my sketchbook and did some arting with Domafox and Keeny. I'm quite pleased with what they did. :D We enjoyed each others' company until 3 AM.
Monday: Spent most of the day playing Genesis games in the almost-completely-empty game room. Left the hotel around 2:45 to make my train home at 3:30. That was plenty of fun!
I contracted some strain of flu on my way out, it seems. Thought it was going out on Thursday, came back in full force today, Friday. Euugh...
Still, pleasing fun fun pleasing all around.
