What region you thinking of? Are you opposed to any particular meats? What kind of time investment are you thinking? NEED INPUT

I live up in the mountains, so it's more likely that I won't have access to a particular meat. :u Only thing I complain about meat wise though is lake fish (and I'm a little leery of wild game, but that's more to do with parasites and what-not) For region...anything vaguely Asian will do (Chinese or Korean are good, but Japanese could be an issue just because I don't have access to miso, bonito or dashi... also I don't really like Thai at all. ^^; ). I'd really like something without much prep, but cooking time is no issue, in fact something I can toss in the crock pot or dutch oven and forget about would be fantastic.

Alright, first off, if parasites are your concern with wild game, then know this: Freezing KILLS parasites. Anything else will be taken care of by simple cooking. Go forth and eat them deer!

Hmm... Well, you could get some beef ribs on the cheap, or some pork, and simmer it in kalbi sauce. You could make your own (bunches of recipes available online, most of them exactly the same), or get it in a jug at your local asian mart. Grill some veggies and serve it all on rice. Nice and simple. For something a little different, take tomato paste and spread it on the meat, roasting it in the oven to a nice darkness before plopping it in the crock pot fulla sauce.

Awesome~ If you do get some game coming your way, try slicing it into thin strips and marinating it in a bit of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Great start to some bomb-ass cheesesteaks.
