Welcome to FA, those are quite some delightful first downloads you have here!

And the basics of this site are fairly simple. If you want to reply to a comment on a pic or journal, there's a reply button specifically for that on the lower right corner of the text box. If you use it, the people can easily see that you replied to them.
As for shouts, the best way to reply is to simply shout back at the person's page.

A birdie told me you were hanging around here, so I came... aaand I don´t get a thing of this gallery. I have no "inbox page" for messages or whatsoever, got a lot and ...do have to find them on each drawing? can´t I read them all together and reply from the same place like in DA?
I wanted to "personally" wish you a happy birthday. Now here I'll post the furry drawings only, but won´t take commissions (cause it would be a mess) scrolls in DA are the only controlled way. Keep looking on those or the freebies I keep doing hun, it´s time for me to re-new my version of misty (I have improved... and I'm so humble!!) XD

There is an inbox. It is located at the top right corner of the page, under the "Welcome -Name-" and "log out" tags.
Wenn there are new things for you to look at, they will show there with a number and a letter.
The numbers are of course how many of that category is new. The letters are:

S = A new submission by someone you are watching
J = A new journal by someone you are watching
C = Comments on your pictures or journals, as well as direct replies to a comment of yours, even if it was on someone else's page/submission
W = A new Watch
F = A new favorite on one of your pictures
N = A new Note (Private Message)

If you click the letters, you get a detailed view of each category.

thanks for the guiding pal. Let´s see.. I've got into that "inbox" and takes me to a page where I read status stuff like:

That´s what tricks me. Inbox in DA leads to a place where all messages (from comments, journal, polls,etc..) are brought to the same place to be read and replied.

you can drag your mouse over the screenname "firefly8083" and that will take you to my userpage... OR you can drag your cursor over the words "Ninja FIRST scroll", which will take you to the journal and comment where it was made

I mean drag your mouse over those words and they should highlight, then click them <3

Also, if you are looking for the private message system directly, there's the (Notes) also located top right, between (My Journal) and (Control Panel).

*huggles n nuzzles* well... it takes a bit of getting used to from the DA layout, it is very different here, but the more you play around with it all the easier it becomes. No, you cant answer all your messages on one page like on DA... you have to do them on the submission/journal./userpage the comments were made on ... a bit of a pain, but something that you will get used to in time <3

I dont go on DA anymore... I discovered someone tracing my work and claiming it as their own, then I found out that tracing and re-coloring a lineart without permission from original artist, is something that is somewhat allowed over there. I hate having my work, that I do, stolen and all T.T so I took everything down on DA and am only on here for now... unless I find another art hosting site that I like.... T.T if you ever have the incline to draw Mitsy again, I am always open for doing a trade, or in time a commission... though I am never on when you upload your scrolls >.> <3 I will look into it though luv ^^ i am just glad that you are on this site, that way I am able to keep in contact with you and view your art as I have always been a huge... HUGE fan <3

thanks for the tips sweetie but HEY! that´s NOT allowed that´s ART THEFT! when that happens you submit a journal with the link to your piece and the stolen one, and everyone of us your watchers (and you too) will report the son of a bitch and will get deleted and banned in no time!! I report those idiots from time to time and always get noted by the admins that they kicked their asses.
You shouldn´t needed to quit for that! happens everywhere and all the time, but at least at DA the reporting system works, and punish fall over them inmediately (besides all us reporting will go and spam the idiot's box with "thief!" messages and stuff, there´s no mercy with those people when they are discovered. :XD: (gimme the link, i'll personally go and get that asshole)

I'll keep this working as my "furry account" as I said, but to keep up with scrolls and the rest of my works you'll sure need to step for a while on the DA gallery. (I'll give advice here when blue and white scrolls are coming again, but still people here will have to go there to get them)

btw: how do I put a profile picture? the frontpage of the gallery itself is so boring...

I found him here first (the tracer) and confronted him and he was all "oh I am sorry I didnt link you for refernce" but, I took his picture and put it on top of mine, and the lines matched up 100% X3 I blew up and told him it was a deliberate trace and he comes back, attacking me and saying that it wasnt considered a trace cause he changed the length of the hair in the back on the character >.> *rolls eyes* I was sooooo irrate... then I found out he posted it on DA as well... and when I confronted him there he came back with the "sorry I no speak English" GRRR lol... I just hate people that think its okay to treat me like that, it got me really really upset, (sure it was an awful trace, only in pencil and looked unbelievably horrid) but it got me all worked up the same... and I took my gallery down >.> every piece of it... *sigh*
but I had let me DA account slip further and further the past year, so idk X3 I still have the account there so I can get on it and view art and make comments and such though ^^ <3 cause I do still have friends over there that I miss dearly <3

profile picture... submit the picture you want into your scraps section (there is a little box you check when you are filling out your submission right under the rating of the picture) and submit it... then go to your control panel, and in your profile info, under the big text box for all the stuff you say on your front page, there is a section on the right hand side where you can select a profile ID ^^

we spamed your wall there on your birthday XD. Um.. sounds like he has been already "justiced".. to bad... I wanted a piece of him. ;-P yeah that´s tracing but now he´s out. and if he comes back with the same deal... he'll get kicked again :XD: he won´t be missed, far not like you, I've missed you a lot and I'm sure the rest too.
