Tragic News

I do not know how many of you read my Journals or what not. But a piece of my childhood was lost today.
well, the news of the loss came out.
Over this last weekend a Beloved Children's Author passed away of a heart Attack. Brian Jacques passed away at the age of 71.
I am sure that a good many of you know who he is, but for those of you that might not.
He wrote the Book Series Redwall. A series of Good Vs. Evil in the form of Anthromorphic animals. The Good Guys were Mice, Moles, Shrew, Otters, Squirrels, Hares and Badgers.
While the Evil forces were Rats, Stouts, Foxes, Weasels, and a Wildcat.
There were more species but these are what I can remember.
With character of Martin, Matthias, Mattameo, Methuselah, Tess, Lord Broadstripes, Constence the Badger, and Cluney the Scourge, Slager, Azmodaez, and many more villain names that could be paragraphs long.
These were a part of my childhood, a time that rose my love of reading and created a means to where I wanted to be a writer, He was one of the authors that through his own writings, edged me along to declare I will be an author someday.
He will be dearly missed.

Those books were, and still are, my favorite series of books from my childhood.
