Awwr, everything all right?

Well just giving it a second thought, it sounds like I would be pretty bored as Hammy would be at the artists alley the whole time, Since I dont like drawing in public and cant really use my FA name at the con, chances are I wouldn't meet anyone and it would turn out to be just a huge boring waste of time and money.

Guy from work will be there, it would be a disaster if my FA stuff gets known in my professional life :D

Well every other con id been to was me standing around being too shy to talk to anyone, or spending too much money because it was the only interaction I had with anybody.. Icould be awkward at parties right here in Vancouver no need to travel for that :)

Pittsburgh is a nice city.you could always walk around some and see the rivers, point state park where they meet to form the ohio, or go up mount washington and see the whole city from above.

I hope you give it a chance sometime. Is it really that much of a threat to your professional life? I understand that there isn't always a huge separation between work and personal life, but I can't imagine it matters too terribly much.

You shouldn't go unless you have a lot of cool friends that you know are going with you. Cons by yourself are boring and sad.
