Music is my complaint whenever I get hold of videos of bondage movies from the 1950's-1970's. They were silent to begin with (usually), filmed in 8mm or Super 8, and run on projectors. They usually try to find some period music to go along with it, and yeah, Mute is your friend.

I've always thought that is you want nostalgia in your adult movies, then the soundtrack should be nothing but the sound of a running projector
