Seek advices for drawing techniques

Okay I finally decided to ask you guys... seriously there must be at least one artist among the people reading this x3
Up till now I just was working with pencils and scanner, making something like sketches.
It is a very inefficient way to generate Lineart, since I have to clean the scan manually.
My mayor goal is to make Lineart in a more easy way! So I have a few ideas right now.
1) Freakin learn how to traditionally ink things. I never used anything different than a pencil... so I ask you guys what are you using ( If making traditional Linearts ) for it.
2) Getting a Graphics tablet and doing Linearts entirely online. I still would scan my pencil sketches and ink it then. Yet I would need a Graphic tablet... someone has experience with that? I don't need a big or expensive one.
Of course if you got other ideas or suggestions... GO FOR IT! Spam my Journal full with it! Since I already fear nobody will answer. If you want you also can tell me your way of doing Art ;3

I got Stabilos at home, but I never used them for drawing
but thank you for answering my questions^^
It's a wacom bamboo fun wich cost me 99€ (around 140$ but I guess you can find it cheaper online)
For inking, I use either a nib with chinese ink, copic multiliners/sakura micron (Faber castell and other art brands make the same kind of pens) or a rotring rapidograph.
And the key is to look at a lot of tutorials and references.
I'd rather work with a nib, but that's because I'm used to.
Actually, I ink with a writing nib (yaknow, the ones they had in schools before) and I do that since I was 11 (I'm now 23) so of course I have some practice X)
Like on this supah old pic of mine for example : http://hoshiberry.deviantart.com/ga.....et=48#/d1w0gpt
Pens are easier to handle, but the ink tends to faint when erasing pencil :/
You can still colour the lines digitally if needed.
But I don't think carrying it around everywhere would be good for it.
But thanks for the answer x3
everyone seems to use common ones to do it.
you do that entirely with the mouse? Or curve tools?
This link may or may not help show what I am talking about <.<
*serious face* >=3 regardless of what you say! I still like your art and it's cool how you shape simply shapes into so awesome sprites
Look what I did just for you. This is proof that I can't draw with a mouse! ... Don't make me try to colour it :c
I am sure they are better for other things then =S
But, once more as a refresher. ;)
I use a 4H pencil to do the sketch since the lines are soft and easy to erase.
I go over the thick outlines with either a brush pen, or just a thick sharpie.
The pens I use are... Faber Castell PITT Artist pens. Though just about any art pen that uses India ink is a step up from normal rollerball pens. India ink is pigmented so it's got a stronger black color, and dries faster.
That way when you erase the pencil linework there's no smudging. If you use standard roller pens, you better wait at least 10 minutes before trying to erase lines or you WILL smudge your drawing and have to clean it up once you scan it.
