Ok, i'm coming back into work and listening to the radio, WBEN FM if anyone is in the Philly area, and i hear this animal welfare agency come on the air. No big deal, right? Of course they're sponsoring some event to get pets out of the shelters, which is all well and good, but they sure as hell weren't thinking right when they picked the name for it. Get this, The Heavy Petting Adoption Event, or some such. i forget the part after i heard the first two words of the event name. Do they know what implications they are implying with this name?
