Only the true power of dub bass weapons can be unleashed whilst under the influence of...drug of choice :p
Music is a drug itself. While it's true that many people write and record and produce their music under the influence of drugs, I believe that music, whatever genre it may be, is mostly meant to be listened to sober. If you need to alter your state to enjoy the music more, then you're not actually paying attention to the music. People shouldn't need drugs to enjoy the music. The music, whether it be dubstep or country, should be powerful enough for the listener to feel amazing. Music is a form of expression. The artist expresses their emotions and feelings through their songs, and hopes to trigger strong emotions in the listener. I might sound repetitive, but if the listener needs drugs to get those emotions, they're not really listening to the music.
I'm not hating on anyone who does drugs, by all means they can smoke, snort, roll, drop, get wet, whatever, all they want. Just stating my opinion.
Music is my drug of choice.
