A hedgehog/wolf hybrid challenger appears....

I found this amusing...
ShadowSani posted on Livejournal showing off her new heads - fair enough. She requested no critiques because they were done, she liked them, the commissioner liked them etc.
Some people said OK, shame you won't take critiques because it would help you improve a lot. She gets her arse in her hand and deletes the post.
SO, she reposted with a lot of gumpf about "respect my choice for no critique" so because she made so much fuss about the critique that that was all people replied to.
She explicitly said "I prefer for people who can actualy SEE and OWN my works to give crits" (direct quote)
So I posted "I've seen your work - I won't give crits cos you don't listen." (I had to shit-stir)
She replied "i've seen your work up close too, and can also offer ALOT of crits"
Hmmmm
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED
Buuut the post has been deleted before I could I could reply "OK, critique away - be as honest as you want"
I normally ignore her posts since I know she can't take any form of advise and thrives on asspats but here's her journal about the whole LJ thing
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2101900/
Seriously, I'm tempted to post asking for critique seeing as she ran away on LJ but is the aggro worth it?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not high and mighty enough that I can't take critique - please critique away - I like to improve. I just want to know which of my suits she has seen up close and how she thinks I can improve.
tl:dr ShadowSani is entertaining me - I wish I had some popcorn...
EDIT: I am not attacking ShadowSani - if she has something to say about my work then she should say it rather than just deleting stuff and complaining about how I copy other makers. Where's the proof???

FA+

If you actually read her journal, she states that she posts to the Fursuit LJ to kind of bump herself out there, not really to fish for "GUYS WHAT I DO BETTER?!" answers.
A LOT of artists don't ask for critique because they don't want "omg u suck" comments, or the simple fact that maybe even casual comments will come off as sharp as knives (Some artists like Shads and myself as well, don't take 'general' critique well, and really only want to have comments from the people ordering the item, or limit it to people we know and trust for critique.)
Her suits (as well as her art) are far better in craft than some of the 'well known' suit makers in the US. And that's more in terms of "style" and "uniqueness" as well as how good it looks. Latin Vixen and Lacy's 2D eye style is something WIDELY used by suit makers, even yourself have copied its style; your suit eye: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4379127/ Lacy's eye: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4887590
Yes, she might 'benifit' from some pointers, but her having flarws in a style that's all of her own makes it HER style. Because of this, she's already been selected as the creator of my own personal fursuit, because I personally like how her heads look.
I hate being torn between two artiststhat I watch on here, I also hate having to 'contribute' to the drama. But knowing her attitude and how it's similar to my own with handling critique, I have to sidewith her. To her, the critique is like a slap to the face from someone outside of the circle of commissioner and close friends. A feeling that anyone would want to avoid (my semi-blank gallery can prove myself with that fact)
Anyway that's my two cents on the matter... Just because someone doesn't like critique, doesn't mean you have to attack them because of it. She's not being "holier than thou" when she doesn't want critique, she just wants to be seen, really.
I posted this journal because I found it amusing that she could say a lot of things about my suits then basically deleted the post before I could reply. The whole deletion thing just bugged me - I mean, if you're going to post something like that then at least follow it through.
As for copying Lacey and LV, that is 100% unintentional. I copy the references I get for the expressions, and frankly, I don't even like Lacey and LV's work that much, it's boring. My art is still developing and as it develops, so will my suits.
Don't feel torn or that you have to take sides :( I didn't intend this to be a me or her type thing, I haven't got anything against her at all. If I wanted to attack her (not literally) I would have gone out of my way to post on her journal.
Sorry, I tend to ramble.
Also, please don't accuse me of copying other suits without proof. I just follow the references I get and the feedback from customers.
But really how can a person as a fursuit builder/ artist improve if they don't want others to point out flaws and anything that not look or feel right when it's being used. These are the people what will never improve cause they don't like there work criticised.
That's my few lines in the matter.
*sigh* but it seems people will misinterpret this post as a slagging post
Hopefully most people don't misread the post too much.
It's not my fault she hasn't got the balls to stand up for herself.
Jeez, what a mess. This is why I normally don't respond to any of her posts but something really irked me in that one. Also, NOBODY that I saw was forcing crits on her
Kaz was right - shouldn't have posted this journal.
I really want to rant-post on her journal >:(
I do think good for her being able to spend 16 hours on a suit - I work 9 hours a day and have to fit in the suits in between testing pee and sleeping ><
But yes, you MC KNOCKOFF YOU
HAND IN YOUR FURSUIT UNIQUENESS BADGE AND EXIT TO THE LEFT
I'm still glancing over her journal and talk about mountain out of a molehill. Shame no screencaps were taken. I wonder what the chances are of this (or her journal) ending up on furry_drama2?
I would run around hammering f5, but I'm too busy making a dragon. AND I'LL DO IT RIGHT DAMMIT
I'm making spandex pants-padding for a husky bodysuit - BUT I'LL BE RIGHT HERE TO ATTACK YOU NEEDLESSLY ABOUT YOUR CRAP DRAGON HEAD
I WANT TO SEE WHEN YOUR DONE...
SO I CAN CRIT THE CRAP OUT OF THEM HAAARHAAAR
Did you check out her journal btw? I had to screencap that for the lulz, expecially when she starts sucking up to LV :/
Hopefully you'll keep on soldering on with your own work.
Already planning my next fursuit, an otter if your ever interested in having a go at one.
i shall continue to be your walking advertisement. :3
