Dead Space 2

Well, I bought it, beat it, will probably be forced to beat it 2-3 more times just to look like a pro. It's not bad, sometimes it felt like it was a bit riduculously hard even on Survivalist for the first time.
But the multiplayer, ugh. I wouldn't buy it for the multiplayer just yet. Between lag causing human objectives to dissapear (most likely the only way humans will lose unless they're braindead) and Stasis (if you don't know what it is, I'll explain in a moment) it can sometimes be unbearable.
I've played numerous games in Titan mines and gotten to the objective just to have it not spawn. Besides that, is the way maps are obviously inclined towards one team or the other, although with stasis, the Humans are usually a shoe-in. Stasis is, for the uneducated, the ability to toss a little ball of light that'll stop the enemy in their tracks momentarily. In multiplayer you start with 1, and as far as I've gotten you can get 3, and they recharge, and there is the uncommon stasis pack drop that gives an extra charge.
The beef that I have with it is the 2-3 second time that it stops you, meaning free kills for a human. And if they miss enough or need to reload, they can just toss another one to get the kill. Necromorphs need the ability to surprise, but with a playlist of four or five maps, everyone who's above level 10 has probably gotten each and every map memorized.
If you liked Dead Space, it's worth the money, though you might want to rent or borrow first. I'd look around if you want multiplayer, I'm sure there's something better out there.
