My, what an uncaring mother...
Sorry, I've just started Pokémon Pearl using an R4DS cart - which plays DS roms. It's great!
Anyway, "mom" says at the start of the game "Your best friend came calling for you a while ago. He said it was an emergency."
... I WAS WATCHING TV! What stopped you from sending him up or CALLING ME!?
Then as you're going out: "Oh yeah, don't go in tall grass or you'll be attacked by Pokémon. It would be alright if you had your own but..."
But...? But I SUCK too much to HAVE MY OWN?!
I hate her...
Anyway, I love my R4DS. Found out that I would have wasted my money if I bought Drawn To Life, and it has built-in Pokémon Pearl cheats! I can get 999 of anything!
If I decide to cheat.
Next on my must-try list: Jump Superstars.

atleast mom slaps you in bed and makes you rest if you try to make conversation with her later in the game...
so she's not completely useless ;P
