Ahhhhhhhh... I love that old time feeling... I still got one PS1 game and the only game from my collection that I never beat Kyu~~ I still play and play it but the challenges were so good...
The PS1 had some of the most original, innovative, and experimental games EVER.... the fact that those ideas BARELY carried over..... is rather sad.... save for a few rather original ones (echochrome, etc) I miss the good old days of gaming....
But those games aren't available to those who have no constant internet connection.... which is sad.... we need like a PSN indie collection disc or something(almost typed dick there @.@)
I recently downloaded a SNES emulator. The first rom I got for it was Sunset Riders. I nearly shat bricks when I saw them loading an old Sunset Riders arcade machine into the theater arcade room in town.
I dunno, I found it on another site and copy-pasted it.
Your lucky I have to travel to town which is over 10 miles away and it isin't even a proper arcade, its just a room with several PS3s and 360s, I WANT HOUSE OF THE DEAD 3 GOD DAMNIT ;_;
...do they charge you to play those PS3s and 360s? Because as far as I know charging for Pay-for-play on any console non arcade machine not liscenced by the individual company who makes the game, set up as pay-for-play, is illegal. I knew a guy who owned a used game store in Reno who was doing that, several companies filed a cease and desist notice on him. He found a loop hole though. While he couldn't charge people to play on the machines, he could charge them to go into the room they were in. So he started charging flat rates on the room instead of on the games.
