Pokemon Black and White Tour

..and it was awesome. :D Not really "fun"... but awesome nonetheless! I kind of wish I wasn't so shy, or had some friends to go with me too. It was still fun, but could've been better if I planned ahead more.
First thing when I got there, I whipped out my DS and got the mystery gift event Celebi. I bothered to soft reset for one with good IVs, but a less than spectacular Nature, heh, 20+ on every IV was good enough for me. Only only half care for competitive stuff, and it was an event Celebi with Nasty Plot, so best take advantage of that the most I can haha. I mostly got it so that I can get Zorua when I get White later on. This is my first legit Celebi too. ALSO SOME INIKA TRIVIA: This is the first time I've ever heard Celebi's Cry, on top of that. o:
We also went to go play a demo of Black and White, with a pretty cool intro movie beforehand, haha. The demo itself, as short as it was, was pretty great. It was nice to see the game run smoothly in person. c: I got a Zekrom pin out of it, which is nothing much, but it kinda looks cool regardless haha.
Despite my shyness, I also got to talk to someone that was working there a tiny bit. Maybe it's silly to be surprised over something like this but they were actually okay with talking about stuff that seems like America isn't "supposed" to know about, I guess that would be because I am amongst the older fans there? Heh. We were talking about which starter we were going to get, and I said "Snivy, because I kinda like Serperior, and Oshawott if I get Black, because Samurott is pretty cool too." And they seemed to know what I was talking about/was okay with talking about it.
Also I minor note but I saw a couple of cosplayers of Blair and Whitlea, but they might've been with the people working at the Tour. Either way, neato.
Anyway, finally onto the merchandise! :D

I saw this and immediately wanted it, Snivy being my favorite thing about this gen's starters. c: It's so cute with it being all "o:<" haha.

These were also a must-have. They more than make up for the lack of preorder figures this time around. Sure there's no fancy sparks or flames flying but these are huge figures.

And indirect souvenirs are a couple of Pokemon Center bags. Not that big of a deal but nice this to keep, I suppose!

Aaaand finally I got a Zekrom Plushie. I think it's 10 inches tall or so, haha.
I wish they had more stuff, I'm surprised they didn't even have plushies for the monkey trio at the very least, but this was still a nice haul.
Overall, it was great to go there. (: This kind of makes me want to go to a Poke-con or something haha. I should participate in more events too. Future ones might not be as cool as this one, since all this was to introduce a whole Generation, but still. If you get the chance, go there!
