I'm tired of seeing this, and I really wish it would stop. People knocking Halo 3 just because the 2nd one was bad and they don't have the faith that Bungie could pull off another good release. Well, I hate to burst their bubble but they would be dead wrong.

Halo 3 starts out with quite an awesome cut-scene that sets the bar for the rest of the game. Also, Bungie wasn't the only one working on it, some of the guys from Rare were on it too. I'm guessing the graphics department as your environment looks breathtakingly awesome. *possible spoilers below*

Now some of the complaints i've seen were mostly based around how you tend to focus more on the flood instead of the covenant. They also seem a little pissed that the Arbiter is fighting along side you. I would guess they are pissed because they don't pay attention to shit that happened in the 2nd Halo. The Elites arn't part of the covenant, they were cast aside and want revenge, Arbiter's main focus is primarily the same as MC's: Stopping Truth before he can activate the rings on the Ark.

Now as far as gameplay goes I would saw it is fairly flawless. I have not come across a bug or glitch that hinders gameplay in any way. Multiplayer seems to be the same way. I especially like how plasma swords can now clash when two try to hit eachother at the same time. The ability to detach a turret and carry it around on the map is a cool feature as well. Not to mention the new ranking system and armor customization seems to add a lot more reasons to play online. However the most critical one to me is the Asshole button. My friend calls it the "Annoying 12 year old kicker".

That's about all I have to say on he game, it's fun, intense, and well worth the money. P.S. make sure you watch the credits, it's worth it!! Mist out.
