Exciting work, or super annoying customers?

I never had any annoying customers (although strong accents can get annoying) but the work soemtimes got WAY too fast-paced...

Work-related peeves that I've done.. two actually. The first would be customer service calling. I think all of us had some random stranger from a company calling you up to buy this and that. I was that person but mine was more towards education. I was promoting this new Masters in Business Technology to fresh grads who wants to pursue masters. Imagine talking for at least half an hour and to get the answer. "Oh, that's quite an interesting course and story. Unfortunately, I'm already taking another master program." I was like... WTF?! I explained to you for HALF an hour and you couldn't say "I'm currently studying!"

I slammed the phone down without saying goodbye. LOL!

SEcond work related would be, like you customer service but in a bookstore, more towards office work related. Customer orders in, wants this book, says it's urgent. I had to drop everything to settle that 'urgent' book for a customer and guess what... that 'customer' didn't arrive and said he didn't want the book any longer. that was the worst part of my day. Because I dropped everything to tend to this customer and i got a massive scolding from my boss.

Hehe, maybe they just wanted someone to talk to for half and hour

hmm..My work related peeve? well lets see...

1) people stacking bowls, plates, and silverwere in instreresting ways by the trash can where i put them..there is a bin right there people...USE IT
2) People leaving their tables a mess when there are tons of people around and force me to take all the dishes back, and wipe off the table
3) People who are annoyed when I vaccume by them with my little push vaccume...I mean honestly..it takes me about 10 seconds to do it..and it annoys you?!?
4)No tips...
5)Parents that let their babys play with the Mac-and-cheese, and smear it all over the table...
6) people who show up 5 minuites before we close, order an impossably large amount of food, and proceed to eat it all in the restaurant...

Hospitality workers always cop the raw end of the stick. Customers don't seem to realise how easily they can make our lives by simply being tidy.

I don't really have any becuase I don't really work with the customers themselves.....I work with their dogs. I guess the only things I can consider being annoying about my job are those dogs who get babied too the point where the dog acts like a spoiled brat. Sad thing is, is that it really happens too which leaves my coworkers and I with an asshole of a dog xD

Urf...I know what you mean. The dog gets a superiority complex, or else collapses into a nervous puddle as soon as 'mommy' leaves...

That or they bite at other dogs... which causes a dog fight potentially up to maybe 20-30 dogs >_< We know the signs so we're super careful with the babied doggehs.

also my summer job. People who leave shit on the table. Or think that it is ok to arrive right when the boat is leaving and think they can get on. And sports team... They suck,,.

*sighs* I hate it when people leave stuff on the table. And that's just inconsiderate, jumping on when you're leaving. Hehe, you should pull back a little more and watch them fall into the water

I used to work in a cafe attached to a grocery store. Let me e-mail you the .zip file of all the screwball things customers did. Lol! About thee most annoying thing I ever had to put up with, was people and trays. I swear, about half the time, they were never put back where they were supposed to be. I mean, c'mon people! The garbage cans are clearly labeled "Do Not Put Trays, On Top. Yet where did I find a whole stack of them, half the time. You guessed it, on top the garbage cans.

People who bitch when someone is not in the store.. it is not OUR fault that the item is out of stock at the supplier.. 1 supplier for like.. 30 or more stores.. of course it will run out! >.>

That's so retarded, why would someone even do that?! There have honestly been a few times where I decided I didn't want to eat somewhere, but that's while I was standing in line! No one was there waiting on me. D:
