A Short Realization

The backbone of video games is failure. A constant stream of failures that assault the players on the futile path to unacheiveable power. The weapons and armor that one obtains is meaningless as the enemy will always be more powerful and the most one can hope for is a quick an painless death.
But that will not be granted as the enemy has the ability to break all the rules that the player is bound to. They can throw more, take more, and do more. Against an enemy like that, there is no victory. A constant stream of deaths and failures.
And I so despise having to fail because the rules are overbalanced in a computer's favor.
