I could do a chase - learned that last week. This week I figured out how to reverse it. Much harder to cross on the upstroke, but it's a very sexy maneuver when you pull it in close.
Chase is when you have a pair of point following each other in a figure eight. I don't even know the name of the moves this guy was doing, but they're pretty advanced.
Poi are balls or weights on strings, swung by holding one end with a loop in your hands. It's a Pacific island art, like hula, and you'll often see it done with fire.
