Whats wrong is that America is a land full of biggots, as is England and the rest of the world. Its simply the heightened apathy and politeness that stops most English people from getting caught out like this, many areas of America have nothing of the sort.

First of all, if the Chick-Fil-A's owner wants to donate his money to that organization, then that's his business, but this just puts another strike against Christians. As it usually goes, this tiny group of haters will have many non-Christians labelling the entire religion as haters.
This whole nation is full of biggots and extremist haters on both sides of every issue though, and it won't ever go away. A sad fact about life though

*Sigh* It sucks that people are doing this. The big-headed people who have lots of power....you know, that's the problem! Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. I was raised Catholic, and I'm actually bi (prefer females but still). My mother knows, and she hasn't kicked me out of her house. She's PAYING for me to go to college, working three jobs to do it. Why do I feel like I'm part of the the only christian of any denomination that has any sense whatsoever?

When bigmouths like this asshole president of a company start shooting their mouths off, it makes everyone in that group look bad even if they don't agree with him. It's starting to put a social stigma on anyone christian of being a bigot and an idiot and a bible-thumper crazy person! It inFURIATES me that people like this exist, and even moreso that people listen to them, whether with sympathetic ears of glares of hatred. People like him don't represent the whole. They're the extremists, and to be honest I wish I were an assassin skilled enough to shut them all up permanently just so we could have some cooperation and understanding between religious people and non-religious people for once.

Most people who subscribe to a religion aren't this stupid.
