Really? Only 25% O.O I've had about a 95% success rate, with fails resulting from people getting upset that I don't like the initial sketches, or they just disappear in the middle and never come back, but I've never lost any money to it what so ever. o.o

I know I didnt have you do this with me since it wassuch a small sum of $ but i would star a paw half now half after policy when you pay , its best for both parties

100% success rate here, thats why i usually go with experience and peoples styles i like :) also you should try my good buddy  cirrus since he is ALWAYS reliable :D

Ouch, 25% success rate?! I've had some problems with artists, but overall I've had many more wonderful experiences than bad. My problem is how long to wait until requesting updates on commissions. I hate to rush an artist (I realize that it's art I'm ordering, not an order of fries), but when you think about it, I am still a paying customer.

I'm having a string of bad luck too.. fortunately no runners, but they'll post up that they're open for commissions, saying they'll be completed pretty quick... Then, without fail, I end up waiting for many months. This has happened like 3-4 times in a row now. And one of them refused to ship the art to me because I'm in Canada.. and they were in a border state too :( Fffffffffffff--

This is why I only do one commission at a time, so I can keep track of who owes me art :p

Ah yeah that sounds similar to me too. Hugs a Roo. An macaw too! Some folks jut don't care I guess they don't care that they are hurting and robbing good people.

Yeah, I am at about 95% when it comes to media type art. Closer to 80% when it comes to fursuit commissions, unfortunately, and that runs into real money. Needless to say, I do my business differently lately, and I dont commission anyone unless I can get reccommendations from people I know, or I can withhold the full amount until delivery.

Dont you worry....as much as you may think there are bad artists out there...there are tons more that are just hoursome...heh...you'll find a trusting one..dont you worry..heh.
